Two men from Florida were stopped in a stolen tractor-trailer carrying more than three tons of marijuana.  They have been convicted of federal drug charges in Pennsylvania.  Eric Emmanuel, 35, and Stanley Narcisse, 36, was convicted of conspiracy and drug-distribution charges.

Authorities say Emmanuel was driving the truck when police stopped it on I-81 near the border between Dauphin and Lebanon Counties.  The troopers who pulled over the tractor-trailer were having problems with the paper work and that prompted them to search the trailer.  Inside the trailer is where they found 6,500 pounds of marijuana.  The estimated value of the marijuana was said to be $6.5 million.

Prosecutors say that the trailer was stolen back in Georgia and the marijuana was loaded over in the state of Arizona and the truck was ultimately heading to Connecticut when the authorities stopped it.

People wouldn’t have to do all this sneaking around if they could start legitimate businesses.  That’s what people should be doing because that’s what the people want to do, especially when it comes to marijuana.
